# HOW TO EDIT THIS FILE:
# The "handy ruler" below makes it easier to edit a package description. Line
# up the first '|' above the ':' following the base package name, and the '|'
# on the right side marks the last column you can put a character in. You must
# make exactly 11 lines for the formatting to be correct. It's also
# customary to leave one space after the ':' except on otherwise blank lines.

lzip: lzip
lzip:
lzip: Lzip is a lossless data compressor with a user interface similar to
lzip: the one of gzip or bzip2. Lzip uses a simplified form of the
lzip: 'Lempel-Ziv-Markov chain-Algorithm' (LZMA) stream format and provides
lzip: a 3 factor integrity checking to maximize interoperability and
lzip: optimize safety. Lzip can compress about as fast as gzip (lzip -0)
lzip: or compress most files more than bzip2 (lzip -9).
